Cadie graduated from Eustis High School and received his baccalaureate degree in Marketing from Florida State University in 1982.

Cadie went into the hardware business with his father and now has three of his children working in the family business along with him. Cadie is involved in the local Chamber of Commerce, Lake 100 and he attends LifePointe church in Eustis. Cadie is also on the board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, as well as on the board of the Central Florida Ace Hardware Dealer group. Cadie enjoys playing racquetball, water skiing and he completed his first marathon earlier this year.
